Job Title: Senior Manager of People Operations
Location: 100% Remote (US Only)
Compensation: $125-150,000 + Comprehensive Benefits Package
Reports to: VP, People Operations
The Senior Manager of People Operations leads the day to day of HR Operations for ~250 employees globally, mainly in the United States and Philippines, in a remote first environment. This role owns the core HR System (Rippling), reporting, and plays a key role in compliance and payroll support. The role also interfaces frequently with leadership, consulting on relevant HR issues regarding talent, compliance, and HR Operations.
The Senior Manager of People Operations currently leads a team of 1 generalist and 1 payroll lead and reports to the VP of People Operations. Additionally, the Senior Manager will serve as the payroll backup and lead the HR System (Rippling), requiring experience in setup and reporting.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves breadth of role, is willing to dig in and figure it out, and relishes the quiet satisfaction of making the day to day of HR tick. Two projects upcoming are the redesign of onboarding and the creation of the HR dashboard.

What You’ll Do:
Oversees day-to-day people operations, including employee transactions, onboarding, offboarding, and employee inquiries.
Oversees day to day HR System management (Rippling), including setup, reporting, security groups, etc..
Oversees reporting, the HR Dashboard, and generating reports for senior management.
Often consults business leaders on talent and compliance implications of employee actions (terminations, pay raises, disciplinary actions, promotions).
Supports compliance by maintaining employee personnel documentation, policies/handbook, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws (via process and filings).
Audits and improves HR processes through simplification and automation.
Acts as a thought leader and contributes to HR strategy.
Maintains working knowledge of compliance and regulatory concerns, industry trends and best practices.
Leads projects related to the delivery of key HR responsibilities.
Acts a payroll backup (can teach but experience is preferred).
Performs other duties as needed.
What You’ll Bring:
Strong technical HR knowledge (e.g., compensation, employment laws, FLSA, FMLA, employee relations, staffing and selection, performance management, training, and development).
Strong organizational and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities in a changing environment.
Proven track record of building strong working relationships with business and human resource partners while fostering a cooperative work environment.
Strong project management skills, coordinating multiple concurrent highly complex and high priority projects with considerable internal and external dependencies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Independent and pro-active.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain objective while working with sensitive and confidential materials.
Experience with HRIS software, Rippling.
Ability to use the full capabilities of Excel for data analysis.
Competency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
8+ years progressive Human Resources experience.
5+ years’ experience as a leader/manager.
Highly preferred experience with Rippling.
Preferred experience running payroll.
Preferred PHR or SHRM certification.
Preferred experience in a global environment (Philippines, Canada).
Preferred experience at companies ranging from 100 to 1000 employees.

Expected Compensation:
$125,000-150,000 annual salary, plus comprehensive benefits. Pay offered will depend on market location, experience, and qualifications. Additional details about benefits will be shared upon offer.
