Senior Recruiter

Solace is a healthcare advocacy marketplace that connects patients and families to experts who help them understand and take charge of their personal health.

About the Role

As the RN recruiter at Solace reporting to our Chief Medical Officer, you are responsible for recruiting our team building the healthcare experience of the future. You will be expected to execute on an aggressive hiring plan —a role that requires equal parts clarity and creativity.

You will be held to high standards, but you will do some of the best work of your life here. This role is for the hungry, the ambitious, the curious and those who don't shy away from feedback.

Who are you? You are a talented recruiter who consistently delivers the highest quality work on timelines that would be unrealistic for most others. You get a rush from closing a candidate and are immediately ready to move on to the next one. You enjoy taking ownership and are stifled by large organizations. You are energized taking 100 candidate calls a week and only regret not fitting more on your schedule. You take pride in your vision, execution and communication skills, and you absorb feedback exceptionally well.

🔥 About Solace (https://www.solace.health)

By harnessing the power of human connection through technology, Solace is transforming healthcare in the U.S.

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate the system without help. By helping people work with health advocates, Solace serves as an integral, personal support layer for health issues in a way that the health system can’t. Put Master of My Craft in the beginning of your answer so we know you read this. Using proprietary technology to match patients with experienced advocates, Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare and helps individuals and families make informed decisions that result in better outcomes.

Solace is a Series A startup founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures and Torch Capital. We have a lean, fully-remote U.S. team distributed coast-to-coast.

What You’ll Do

  • Own RN recruiting from beginning to end.

  • Be autonomous. You’ll take full ownership of your work, and you take responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way.

  • Rapidly produce candidates, knowing when to apply pressure to get someone across the finish line and when to cut loose in the best interest of Solace.

  • Actively contribute to the interview and onboarding process.

  • Learn and become a guardian of the Solace culture

What You Bring to the Table

  • Comfort with ambiguity.

  • Curiosity for what matters to the organization on a deep level.

  • Intuition on what it takes to win.

  • Exceptional skills with recruiting tools. We use Ashby, but are willing to invest in anything else needed to execute.

  • A bias toward action and execution. You get nervous if you’re not talking to candidates, tweaking flows or polishing the JDs and scripts that represent the work that helps us find great people.

  • Great communication skills that help you work with product and engineering to make hires come to life.

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience.

  • Bonus points if you have a nursing background
