Summary of Job Duties:

The UAMS College of Medicine, Department of Neurology, is seeking an Assistant Professor (Neurologist) with a focus in Neurocritical Care to join our dynamic faculty. This position will provide high-quality, innovative, patient- and family–centered health care and specialty expertise not routinely available in community settings.


Qualifications:

  • M.D. or equivalent required.

  • Medical license in the State of Arkansas of eligible for licensure.

  • Completion of a fellowship in Neurocritical Care.

  • Must be Neurology board eligible.


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform outpatient care at a high level of skill, expertise, and professional standards.

  • Providing inpatient coverage.

  • Educating medical students and residents in clinical settings.

  • Contributing to the development of clinical or scientific research.

  • Publishing peer-reviewed articles and research findings.


Salary Information:

Commensurate with education and experience
