The RN PACU at St. Joseph Medical Center is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit. This includes monitoring patients’ conditions, collaborating with physicians and nurses to create individualized care plans, educating patients and their families about post-operative care, and administering medications and treatments according to physician orders.

To qualify for the RN PACU position at St. Joseph Medical Center, candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license, be graduates of an accredited nursing program, and have a minimum of two years of recent experience in an acute, inpatient PACU setting. The role also requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
