Here at Z we love to develop and grow our people. As the result of an internal movement, we have an opening for a Kaitaki Hua ā-Rohe (Waenganui) Regional Asset Manager (Central) to join the Z whānau in a 14-month fixed term contract.
In this role the core focus will be to oversee and optimise the performance of assets from Pōkeno to Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington. Z’s assets portfolio is diverse and large and, in this role, covers manned and unmanned retail sites, truck stops and client-based assets. Travel is required in this role as you will be out and about on site to understand priorities and asset performance first hand.
Taking a strategic approach to the management of these properties you will be responsible for ensuring their maintenance, enhancement, and operation align with Z’s objectives and strategy. Collaboration will be key, working closely with the wider Engineering, Assets, Supply and Customer Teams you will develop and deliver on asset management plans that drive growth, mitigate risks, and ensure long term asset value.
This role could be based in Tauranga, Ahuriri Napier or Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.

What we can offer you
The base salary range for this role is $123,100 to $144,800 per annum, we also offer a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution.
