Job Description

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Offering expert environmental advice on a major transport project
  • Conducting onsite audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental approvals and management.
  • Assisting external stakeholders in investigating environmental incidents and providing support in all aspects of environmental management and compliance.
  • Working directly with clients to develop and maintain strong relationships.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Flexibility and a proactive attitude to effectively support our Rockhampton team with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working onsite with contractors and clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret situations and develop suitable solutions.
  • A solid understanding of Queensland environmental legislation.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as environmental science, engineering, geology, or earth science and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience and a valid full driver's licence.
