People Operations Manager

bunch is building the backbone of private markets, combining exceptional expertise, operational excellence, and frictionless technology. The platform enables funds and private investors to seamlessly and securely set up and manage their investment entities.

We're seeking a People Operations Manager who wants the unique opportunity to build up the People team at one of the most exciting fintech startups in Europe together with the People Lead.

This role is a unique mix of People Operations and People Partnering with the ownership to work on essential elements of our business and gain valuable experience of what it takes to build a team around a vision!

Top responsibilities

  • Be a trusted partner to our bunchies and People Managers on the full scope of People domains to foster a positive and high-performing work environment

  • Optimise and automate our People Operations workflows to improve efficiency and scalability as we grow to Series B.

  • Develop, implement, and lead onboarding programs that welcome and integrate new employees smoothly into our culture and operations.

  • Enhance employee engagement by organizing initiatives and developing systems that promote a seamless employee experience.

  • Oversee our HRIS (Personio) and ensure accurate employee records, compliance, and reporting

  • Own the creation, management, and organization of employee documents, including contracts, amendments, and share agreements.

What you should bring with you

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in the field of People & Culture in a start-up or scale-up.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and trust at all levels of bunch organisation.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, demonstrating initiative and adaptability in situations that are new to you.

  • Passion for People Operations excellence

  • Sincere curiosity for solving problems with People Experience at heart. You can draw learnings from Sales, Product, Operations, and Customer Success to design and deliver employee experiences that are co-created and people-first.

  • Fluent English level (English is our business language). German is a plus but not mandatory.

  1. First Interview: Meet with the People Lead to get acquainted with bunch and understand if what we’re offering aligns with what you’re searching for.

  2. Case Interview: Demonstrate your way of thinking, working, and communicating your output through a case study.

  3. Stakeholders Intros: Meet the people that you will work closely with!

  4. Final Meeting: Discuss further with our Co-Founder to learn about our vision and address any open questions.
