Cabana is a modern, technology-forward mental health provider committed to reducing the time it takes for military service members, veterans, and their families access meaningful support. Serving over 1.2 million individuals nationwide, we combine expert, culturally competent care with innovative technology to deliver confidential, professionally moderated support groups and engaging, daily support tools that empower individuals to take charge of their mental health. 

As we continue our rapid growth, Cabana is embarking on transformative projects across four state markets, working closely with leading Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs), state Veterans Services agencies, and pioneering resiliency initiatives with the National Guard. In addition, we are collaborating with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs on a groundbreaking suicide prevention pilot program, leveraging technology and community-based strategies to address the most urgent challenge facing the Veteran community today. This role is central to driving these high-impact initiatives, bridging internal teams and external stakeholders, growing military-community users, and ensuring successful project execution that directly supports our mission. 

We’re seeking a driven, experienced professional who shares our passion to serve our Military and Veteran communities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives at the Federal, State, and Community levels. Key Responsibilities 

  • Serving as the primary point of contact, establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including Veteran Services Organizations (VSOs), National Guard representatives, and other stakeholders. 
  • Work with internal team and external stakeholders to promote and build awareness of Cabana among veterans and military-connected persons resulting in increased Cabana utilization among targeted populations.  
  • With the guidance of Marketing, develop communication pieces that appeal to veterans and military-connected persons. 
  • Assist in, or coordinate the design, production and distribution of all Cabana materials related to projects, such as emails, direct mail letters, brochures. 
  • From start to execution, build engaging presentations to keep external stakeholders apprised of project status. 
  • With the Head of Public Sector, build and launch an ambassador program to promote Cabana among student vet populations 
  • Identify strategic potential partners that could expand Cabana’s impact among the military community and then approach and build relationships with those partners 
  • Responsible for collecting and collating metrics to evaluate efforts, measure success, alignment with strategic plan, goals and related activities. 
  • Drive project goals, timelines, and deliverables across multiple, high-impact initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives. 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with Federal, State, and Community-level partners to advance program goals
  • Track and monitor project progress, addressing challenges proactively and providing regular updates to leadership
  • Identify risks and develop creative, actionable solutions to keep initiatives on track and aligned with timelines
  • Represent Cabana with professionalism and expertise during partner meetings. Travel to client sites, as needed (up to 10% travel).
  • Performs all other duties, as assigned. 

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, stakeholder management, or a related field 
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university 
  • Familiarity with Military and Veteran communities and their unique needs
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage and build rapport with a wide range of audiences including policymakers, tech teams, nonprofit service providers, and mental health professionals
  • Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports 
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with successful outcomes
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with a track-record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a startup environment, including a willingness to take on diverse responsibilities (i.e., wear multiple hats)
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
