Job Description
The Director is responsible for the strategy, direction and management of organizational and employee development projects, which includes improving organizational results through changes to culture, and/or ways of working. The Director also oversees the College’s Staff Training Department to formulate program offerings that meet the professional needs of the employees. The Director’s responsibilities also include creating resources as needed, and using available training tools, and processes to enable successful implementation of organizational development and employee development initiatives.
Working directly with the Executive Director of HR this position is also responsible for implementing the strategy, direction, and management of employee and labor relations at the College.
This work includes integration of existing HR and talent resources as well as processes such as competencies, onboarding, succession planning, performance management, and strategically aligning the work with all other aspects of the Human Resources and Performance Management Strategy. The Director will also provide consulting services to the HCC community and will serve as a strategic partner in facilitating organizational and employee development.

The position requires at least a Bachelor’s Degree and at least five years of prior-related work experience.
