University Recruiter

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a highly motivated University Recruiter to help us hire top talent. As a University Recruiter at IXL, you will work side by side with the recruiting team, hiring managers, and peers across many teams within IXL to ensure that we hire the best individuals to work toward our mission.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with new graduates as they launch their career. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have strong candidate closing skills.

This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Partner with hiring managers and leaders to deeply understand hiring needs and support student and university recruiting hiring and programs
  • Manage recruiting cycle for entry level technical openings  
  • Foster long-term relationships with high-caliber talent and build the best network of candidates for our teams
  • Become an expert on IXL Learning and speak to candidates about our products, positions, and company culture
  • Maintain a seamless and efficient candidate experience that results in a positive impression of IXL Learning, regardless of the outcome
  • Attend and represent IXL at university career fairs and events
  • Assist with planning and logistics for university recruiting events

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous experience as a Recruiter or University Recruiter
  • Strong eye for talent and an excellent ability to connect candidates with the right opportunities
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to perform
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Ability to work both as a collaborative team member and independently to accomplish hiring goals
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to cultivate great relationships with stakeholders
  • High-volume recruiting background
  • Experience with Greenhouse (or other ATS)
  • Passionate about education and technology

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
