Josys is a fast-growing B2B SaaS platform startup that secured a total of $218 million (approximately ¥33 billion) in Series A and B funding following a successful launch in Japan.
Our mission is to “Simplify IT & Empower Communities” by providing a secure, streamlined platform that solves the complexities of modern IT operations, including the rise of remote work, rapid digital transformation, and the explosion of SaaS applications.
We currently operate in nine countries, including Japan, India, and the United States, with our product development hub located in Bengaluru, India. As we expand globally, we continue to aim for greater innovation and value delivery.
Our teams are distributed worldwide: development is based in India, product is led from the U.S., GTM (Go-To-Market) teams are primarily in Japan with a presence in the U.S., Singapore, and Australia, and our corporate functions are centralized in Japan.
Josys was spun off from RAKSUL, a Japanese unicorn recognized as Forbes “Startup of the Year 2018.” RAKSUL has led industry transformation through three pioneering B2B commerce platforms.
Our current Head of Finance & Corporate is overseeing the entire corporate function, but will soon shift focus to more strategic initiatives such as M&A, finance, and business planning.
To support this shift, we are hiring a new Corporate Manager who can lead the day-to-day operations of our corporate functions, build scalable processes, and drive execution across functions.
As our global expansion accelerates, we’re looking for a highly capable generalist with strong execution skills and the ability to coordinate across functions and regions—including legal, finance, and HR.
This person will play a key role in bridging strategy and execution, with a Chief of Staff-like perspective.
In this role, you will act as a well-balanced generalist who understands business strategy, execution, and day-to-day operations across functions.
You’ll be expected to take ownership of solving complex, cross-functional challenges in a global environment, while supporting core organizational operations without leaning too far into “defensive” or “offensive” extremes.
Hands-on work and initiative will be key to your success in this role.
Drive and optimize corporate functions, including legal, finance, governance, and parts of HR
Design and standardize global operations and internal rules across multiple regions
Lead alignment and decision-making between departments with different interests (e.g., business vs. legal)
Organize information for executive decision-making and serve as a liaison across departments
Plan, lead, and manage cross-functional initiatives
Examples include:
Introducing and designing operations for global tools
Standardizing corporate legal and cash flow rules to support region-specific irregularities in GTM
Building scalable processes to manage legal and financial operations across regions
Applicants should have the following experience or equivalent:
3+ years of experience in business planning, corporate planning, or a similar role at an operating company
Experience working on projects or operations that span multiple corporate functions (e.g., legal, finance)
Proven ability to coordinate and align across multiple departments with conflicting interests
Experience working in or collaborating with global teams (or across multiple countries)
Track record of identifying issues and leading initiatives through implementation
English proficiency sufficient to perform the above tasks in a global setting
Experience in a Chief of Staff or similar role
Experience launching overseas operations or designing governance structures
Project management experience involving global systems or SaaS tool implementation
Experience handling negotiations or coordination in English
A strong problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges
A balanced generalist with a broad understanding of both business strategy and operations
High level of clarity and insight into both business and operational workflows
A hands-on, execution-driven leader who can collaborate with specialists across functions
Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to move quickly and make things happen
Able to listen to on-the-ground feedback while maintaining a strategic, executive perspective
Comfortable working in unstructured environments and passionate about building scalable systems
