Principal Product Manager - Orchestration

About the role

As Principal Product Manager for our AI Orchestration Platform, you’ll define and execute the strategic vision for how our customers schedule, manage, and optimize AI workloads. You will collaborate deeply with engineering, sales, research, and senior leadership to innovate and deliver the platform that shapes how organizations train and deploy models at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, own, and execute the strategy for the Orchestration Platform layer of Lambda’s public cloud.

  • Own revenue growth, profitability, adoption, and customer satisfaction.

  • Drive execution across engineering, support, sale, marketing, and leadership. 

  • Stay ahead of the curve on trends in AI workload scheduling, distributed training, and inference.

  • Engage deeply with AI developers to understand their workflows, pain points, and needs to shape the product.

Your technical qualification:

  • 10+ years of PM experience, with 5+ years focused on developer-facing K8s services.

  • You’ve taken a product from 0 to 1 and scaled it to commercial success.

  • Your K8s knowledge runs so deep, engineers forget you're a PM.

  • You stay plugged into the K8s community – you’re passionate, well-networked, and know where things are headed.

  • Strong technical foundation (CS, Engineering, Math degree or equivalent experience).

Salary range information:

Based on market data and other factors, the annual salary range for this position is $300,000 - $385,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
