Recruiting Associate - Contract to Perm

Mark43 is approved to hire in Canada, the UK, and 40 U.S states, including AZ, CA-excluding San Francisco, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NE, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, and WI. Before applying to a remote role, please ensure that you are able to perform the position in one of the states listed above. We are looking for a Recruiter to join our team on a contract-to-permanent basis. You will play a key role in scaling our team by owning full-cycle recruiting across various departments. As we continue to grow, you'll help shape a thoughtful, inclusive, and efficient hiring process while working closely with hiring managers and cross-functional partners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their recruiting career who is passionate about connecting great people with meaningful work.

 

What You’ll Do
If you were part of our team, here are some things you might have done last week:

  • Partnered with a hiring manager to launch a new role, aligning on profile, interview process, and sourcing strategy

  • Reviewed applications and conducted initial screens for a variety of open roles. 

  • Maintained structured workflows in Greenhouse, ensuring accurate candidate data and a smooth hiring experience

  • Sourced passive candidates for a hard-to-fill role using LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms

  • Collaborated with another recruiter to troubleshoot an interview process bottleneck

  • Participated in a debrief session, helping drive a balanced and inclusive decision-making conversation

  • Shared key recruiting metrics and candidate pipeline updates with department leaders

 

What You’ll Need
We’re looking for a recruiter with 1–3 years of experience in a high-growth environment — ideally at a SaaS or tech company. Experience using Greenhouse is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate is:

Additional Details

  • This is a contract-to-permanent role based in New York with hybrid flexibility. 1-2 days in our Bryant Park Office

  • Competitive hourly rate during contract phase, with opportunity for full-time conversion

  • Some in-office collaboration expected for key team meetings and onboarding
