We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role can be based in any of our UK offices (London/Sleaford/Birmingham).

Position Overview:

As a Project Manager at MRI Software you will primarily be responsible for managing large, complex software implementation projects (Cloud and on-premise) on behalf of our customers, delivering them on time and within budget.

Responsibilities to include

  • Successful delivery of multiple concurrent customer-facing consulting and technology projects
  • Ensure quality of delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Customer relationship and expectation management during the engagement lifecycle
  • Provide clear and accurate management reporting and statistics including accurately forecasting imminent invoicing and future income
  • Work closely with the sales teams and having a solid understanding of the sales process
  • Work closely with the consultancy teams to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Work with the operations team and Project Management Office to effectively schedule team members on projects, while recognising there will be competing demands on these resources, and ensure adherence to good process
  • Liaise with managers and directors on project escalations
  • Proactively identify and manage changes to project scope and schedule
  • Identify and manage risks for complex projects and develop appropriate mitigation strategies

Skills/Requirements (necessary):

  • Proven ability to delivery complex projects with successful outcomes for both employer and customer
  • Good knowledge demonstrable application of project management methodologies (e.g. Prince 2, PMP etc.)
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent budgetary, scope and timeline control
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office

Skills/Requirements (desirable):

  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Experience of software implementations in a Professional services environment
  • Bachelor level degree
