nVent, located in O’Fallon, MO, is adding an Inventory Coordinator to our team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position significantly contributes to the manufacturing and distribution of high quality electrical equipment. This position will support a variety of manufacturing processes.

As the Inventory Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our manufacturing and distribution efforts for high-quality electrical equipment that keeps our customers safe and connected. In this hands-on position, you'll dive into inventory management, overseeing receipts, transfers, and new item setups, while also keeping an eye on cycle counts. You'll be the go-to person for coordinating equipment returns, collaborating closely with our Customer Service and Sales teams to provide excellent service. Familiarity with Worldship and LTL shipping software will be a bonus, as you’ll be responsible for shipping customer orders efficiently. Operating a forklift to facilitate material handling is part of your daily experience, and you'll also help develop production schedules based on actual customer demand. A strong foundation in lean manufacturing principles and some experience with ERP programs, especially JDE software, are needed for success. We're looking for someone with solid verbal and written communication skills, solid organizational abilities, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
