WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Build and maintain effective working relations with leaders and employees.
Deliver processes such as onboarding, benefit administration, pay reviews, performance management and off boarding – entire employee life cycle
Facilitate effective delivery of employee communications, including announcing organization changes, new hires, key initiative updates, and nVent and Segment news.
Identify and recommend opportunities for HR initiatives that improve employee experiences, grow high-performing teams and reinforce our values and culture
Collaborate with HR teams across the business and lead project work to drive consistent execution of HR services.
Provide day-to-day coaching and counsel to internal partners on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultation.
Maintain HRIS data and ensure quality delivery of reports, etc.
Lead engagement initiatives to promote a professional and enjoyable workplace
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline required
3+ years of HR generalist/business partner experience
Experience supporting manufacturing functions preferred
Knowledge and understanding of employment laws, human resources theory, practices and legal requirements
Skills in consulting, collaboration, innovation, planning, decision making and organization to help identify and develop programs, policies, guidelines and procedures that will engage and retain a highly talented workforce
