Oura is looking for a Product Designer for a 6 month contract, responsible for optimizing our consumer-facing eCommerce experiences and supporting product launches. This person will work with stakeholders to design intuitive and impactful solutions based on qualitative and quantitative data.

What you will do:

  • UX and UI design enhancements for ouraring.com, with a focus on eCommerce feature launches and evolving our design system
  • Work closely with product managers and developers to optimize and iterate on web-based features
  • Translate product requirements into simple and intuitive user-friendly design
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and responsive web design
  • Recommend and test UX/UI improvements by processing quantitative and qualitative data and conducting user research
  • Collaborate and share feedback with Oura’s creative and app design teams to maintain visual consistency across channels

We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.

We would love to have you on our team, if you have:

  • 4+ years experience as a UI/UX designer
  • History of launching successful consumer-facing eCommerce products
  • Figma expertise in building and maintaining design systems
  • A solid understanding of web technologies and responsive design principles
  • A portfolio showcasing high quality, thoughtful UI and UX work
  • Experience driving user research activities a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with international groups and distributed teams a plus

At Oura, we care about you and your well-being. Everyone here at Oura has a ring of their own and we are continually looking to improve employee health.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Accrued paid time off and wellness time off, and 5 sick days

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
