We are looking for an organized, proactive, and results-driven People Operations Manager to join our small but growing People team. The ideal candidate is passionate about finding great people for our company and then supporting their growth and development once they join. In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve an exciting mix of both the strategic and tactical, tackling recruiting challenges, maturing onboarding, driving engagement, and assisting with compliance.

In This Role, You Will

  • Help to analyze and update existing processes, policies and systems to ensure they are up to date, compliant, and designed in a way to support Plasmidsaurus’s growth

  • Oversee our pre-employment and onboarding program and serve as the primary point of contact for our new hires.

  • Help build and oversee our performance management and compensation review processes

  • Identify areas for automation and implement processes that will require minimal manual work.

  • Serve as an HR business partner to new manager 

  • Assist with recruiting with a focus on providing an exceptional candidate experience.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 5+ years of experience in People Ops or Operational experience in a high growth startup or in a larger tech company (or applicable experience)

  • Is comfortable acquiring data from multiple sources, carrying out data analysis, and communicating findings.

  • Has experience researching, drafting, and implementing HR policy, including communicating with legal counsel and team members.

  • Identifies and creates processes, optimizes efficient workflows, and focuses on automation to reduce manual work where possible.

  • Displays strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.

  • Has experience as a system admin for HRIS and/or HR process systems, as well as benefit administrator

  • Understands how to analyze organizational risk with the applicable US, state, and municipal laws and policies.
