Ascend Learning is seeking a Senior Education Consultant to join their mission of improving educational outcomes in healthcare. This remote role involves providing consultative services, eLearning development, and expertise in accreditation and market practices to clients in the UME/GME market.

Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include sharing best practices, collaborating with clients to enhance education management, and developing eLearning opportunities, while serving as a curriculum management expert and producing comprehensive reports.

Skills: Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), extensive experience in academic settings, strong communication and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in eLearning development and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, 8+ years in academic industry, and 5+ years in ACGME accreditation with experience in graduate medical education.

Location: This position is fully remote within the United States, with occasional travel (up to 15%) for meetings and conferences.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $80,000 - $120,000.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Education Consultant, you’ll provide consultative service, eLearning courses, and national accreditation and market expertise for the product and client base to administrators, leaders, and educators at the institutional and program level.  You’ll improve wins and client satisfaction through utilization guidance, product demonstration, policy and market oversight consulting on best practice, trend, and report creation.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will work remote in the United States. 

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

• Share best practices, national expertise, and product knowledge in the UME/GME market to clients
• Collaborate with executive level client stakeholder to evaluate best practices, reporting, and outcomes
• Serve as a knowledge expert in GME curriculum management managing curriculum mapping and lottery for client base
• Instruct on APE and accreditation best practices for GME
• Create eLearning opportunities for consulting purposes
• Produce and present comprehensive final reports, support documentation, and future actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with internal MedHub teams to enhance product offerings leveraging your expertise in the GME sector

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor's degree, master’s degree preferred
• 8+ years of academic industry work experience
• 5+ years of experience in ACGME accreditation
• 5 years of experience in graduate medical education within a hospital or institutional setting
• Experience with eLearning development, preferably with MedHub, software, engineering, or IT education
• Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures, skilled in interpreting institutional and program requirements
• Experience mentoring DIOs, program directors and program coordinators
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at presenting to diverse audiences (in-person or virtually) and communicating effectively with executive leadership in various types of institutions and organizations to analyze and assess best practices, reporting, and outcomes
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver results in ambiguous environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Up to 15% of travel expected for conferences, meetings, and client site visits
