Overview:Through collaboration with other members of the healthcare team, the Registered Nurse (RN) ensures that patients receive the best possible care. This professional is responsible for coordinating care through the nursing process and applying nursing knowledge and skills to achieve positive outcomes.Responsibilities:Assesses patient conditions and necessities in the assigned wing to deliver nursing services, ensuring that all patients get the necessary medical attention.Individualized nursing care blueprints are conceived by reviewing patient information consisting of their medical history, diagnostic reports, and current physical and mental state.Nursing processes that are well-planned and executed, such as medication administration and treatments, are vital to providing the best possible patient care.Confirms adherence to both regulatory and organizational policies to validate the correctness of medical records.Monitoring patient response to therapeutic interventions and identifying any additional interventions required to reach the prescribed care goals.Works with healthcare professionals across disciplines to promote efficient and effective care.Accomplishes additional tasks as allocated.Qualifications:EDUCATION:Required:• Associate's Degree in NursingPreferred:• Bachelor's Degree in NursingEXPERIENCE:Required:• 1 year as a Registered NursePreferred:• 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizationsLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDRequired:Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact stateBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
