GENERAL FUNCTION:
Provides Employee Relations (ER) advice and policy interpretation to managers and employees and is responsible for overall ER case management; counsels managers on individual performance issues and conducts investigations as needed. May serve as a lead for other Employee Relations Consultants (ERCs). In addition may be subject matter expert and/or Bancorp Line of Business ER Partner.

Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Are you ready to take your career to the next level as an Employee Relations Consultant II at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH? In this role, you will serve as a pivotal resource for managing and guiding employee relations issues while promoting a positive workplace environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include advising managers and employees on a wide range of employee relations topics, overseeing individual performance issues, and conducting investigations when necessary. You'll be instrumental in managing ER cases, working closely with Business Partners to develop and implement effective employee relations strategies that align with the bank's goals. We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in HR or employment law, preferably with five to seven years of experience and excellent communication skills. You’ll have the opportunity to utilize your analytical skills to produce insightful data reports from HRIS and other sources, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws. Additionally, you will deliver education to management and staff to foster a supportive environment that minimizes potential employee-related issues. Collaboration will be key as you work alongside various departments and act as a liaison within the organization.
