Role Description:

We're looking for a YouTube SEO & Growth Manager who lives and breathes content, analytics, and growth. Do you know what makes someone hit subscribe after just 10 seconds? We're looking for a data-driven creative who can scale our YouTube presence through smart strategy, engaging content, and constant experimentation.

Responsibilities: 

  • Measure, Tweak, Grow: Analyze channel performance, run fast-paced experiments, and iterate on what works.
  • Own the YouTube Algorithm: Optimize every element – titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails – to boost discoverability and engagement.
  • Turn Ideas into Binge-Worthy Content: Research trending topics, audience behavior, and SEO insights to fuel content ideas across shorts, long-form videos, and podcasts.
  • A/B Test Everything: Run experiments on titles, thumbnails, CTAs, and video formats to learn what drives growth.
  • Build Strategic Playlists: Use playlists, end screens, and content sequencing to improve watch time and session duration.
  • Track and Report: Monitor YouTube Analytics and other tools to track performance, derive insights, and refine content strategy.
  • Collaborate Creatively: Work with editors, scriptwriters, and designers to bring high-performing, engaging content to life.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing or growing YouTube channels.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, content optimization, and algorithm dynamics.
  • Portfolio/samples of previous YouTube channels or content you've grown.
  • Familiarity with YouTube Studio, VidIQ, TubeBuddy, or similar tools.
  • Basic video editing skills or experience managing creative teams.
