Vonahi Security is looking for a Technical Product Owner to drive the growth and evolution of vPenTest, our cutting-edge automated network penetration testing platform. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between customers, support, and engineering—ensuring product improvements align with business goals and user needs. You’ll handle customer escalations, collaborate with support to diagnose technical challenges, and write clear, actionable user stories for developers. 

Beyond issue resolution, you’ll play a critical role in scaling vPenTest, delivering high-impact features, and shaping the future of automated security testing. If you're excited about building innovative security products and working with a dynamic team, let’s talk! 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring features align with business and customer needs. 
  • Analyze product usage data and customer feedback to drive development priorities. 
  • Plan and lead sprints and sprint ceremonies in collaboration with the Product team. 
  • Write clear, concise technical requirements and user stories for new features, integrations, and enhancements. 
  • Define acceptance criteria and ensure features meet the definition of done before release. 
  • Lead initial requirement gathering, break down user stories, own technical collaborations, and groom product backlog in Jira. 
  • Be the in-house expert on all things vPenTest. 
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear, understandable updates for both technical and non-technical teams. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, go-to-market, support, onboarding, development, and customers to ensure seamless feature rollouts. 
  • Handle customer escalations, customer connection calls, and assist support team with understanding the root cause of problem issues and create detailed bug tickets for developers. 
  • Communicate with various stakeholders and partners regarding product inquiries 
  • Continuously improve processes, fanatically document processes / workflows, and stay updated on Agile best practices. 

 

What You Bring: 

  • 2-3+ years of product owner / product manager experience 
  • Strong technical understanding of network penetration testing, networking, or cybersecurity principles. 
  • Technical understanding of networks, endpoints, and VM agents 
  • Experience working with support teams and customer escalations in a product-focused role. 
  • Self-starter persona, dependable and the ability to respond quickly and accurately on multiple priorities 
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and detailed bug reports for development teams. 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Jira, and backlog management. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into actionable tasks. 
  • Experience within the MSP industry is a bonus
