Job Summary

As the Vice President of Project Delivery, you will play a critical role in overseeing the successful execution of transportation consulting projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients while driving operational efficiency and excellence. As part of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful sales and delivery of consulting projects across clients and sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to project delivery teams
  • Innovate and design service offerings based on client needs
  • Lead and oversee successful delivery of transportation consulting projects
  • Determine overall offering and approach for service lines
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to highest quality standards
  • Monitor project performance and address risks proactively
  • Standardize delivery methodologies to drive consistency and efficiency
  • Create go-to-market plans and sales strategies
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business
  • Implement best practices, tools, and metrics to enhance project management
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery processes
  • Track project performance throughout delivery lifecycle
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation
  • Drive project margin improvements
  • Develop and execute project delivery strategy
  • Provide input on new business opportunities, proposals, and contracts

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in project delivery, with at least 5 years in senior leadership
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, complex transportation consulting projects
  • Deep experience in project work with demonstrated technical excellence
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
