Job Summary

  

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Project Manager who will serve as the primary point of contact between the contractor and the U.S. Coast Guard, overseeing all work performed. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of tasks, maintaining clear communication, and managing technical and contractual matters. The Project Manager will act as a liaison between the Contracting Officer (KO) and the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COR), ensuring all project activities align with the defined objectives. The role requires proactive management of the contractor's performance, coordination of TEMPEST activities, and timely resolution of any issues that may arise throughout the contract lifecycle.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Monitor contractor performances.  
  • Coordinate all TEMPEST related activities for the TEMPEST team. 
  • Submit Monthly Status Report 
  • Must attend meetings with the COR and KO to discuss any technical problems or issues dealing with the contract, be knowledgeable of field activities that are summarized in monthly reports and coordinate the submission of travel and training requests and related functions. 
  • Must be available to the COR via telephone during the core hours of 0700 and 1600
     


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years related experience.  
  • Read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Strong communications skills both oral and written. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
