Your main responsibilities include managing weekly meal pack outs in collaboration with the Expeditions Food Manager, overseeing inventory while catering to dietary restrictions, handling the de-issue process for gear and food, performing equipment repairs, and conducting administrative tasks like updating spreadsheets and making immediate adjustments to enhance the program.

To qualify for the Expedition Logistics Support role at Avid4 Adventure, candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in backcountry cooking is required, and familiarity with repairing camping gear is preferred. Additionally, candidates should hold a Basic/Community First Aid and CPR certification by the start of camp, with Wilderness First Aid or Wilderness First Responder certifications being a bonus.

The work schedule for Expedition Logistics Support at Avid4 Adventure is around 20 hours per week, primarily from Thursday through Sunday to align with our expeditions that leave on Sundays and return on Fridays. This schedule allows you to be fully engaged during the critical times when the backcountry trips are being prepared and executed.

Compensation for the Expedition Logistics Support role at Avid4 Adventure is based on your position, relevant certifications, and tenure, with starting hourly wages ranging from $18.81 in Colorado to $23.00 in California. You can also earn additional bonuses ranging from $125 to $400 per certification.
