Position Summary

As our QMAP extraordinaire, you'll be the maestro of medications and the champion of care, all while spreading smiles and creating a vibrant atmosphere that aligns with our company's fun-loving mission and values.

Your Exciting Daily Adventures

  • Be the resident's personal care concierge, anticipating needs faster than a mind reader and reporting them with the enthusiasm of a game show host!
  • Transform into a grooming guru, helping residents look their best – because every day is a red carpet event in our community!
  • Channel your inner detective to spot any resident care needs – from misplaced spectacles to sneaky skin rashes. No clue is too small for your eagle eyes!
  • Become a master of multitasking, juggling resident care, family communication, and teamwork like a circus performer – but with less juggling pins and more care plans.
  • Be the guardian of safety and well-being, watching over our residents like a friendly neighborhood superhero.
  • Transform into the Medication Maestro, orchestrating the perfect symphony of "right resident, right dose, right time, right medication, and right route." It's like conducting an orchestra, but with pills instead of instruments!
  • Keep those medication carts stocked and ready for action – think of it as preparing for a medication marathon!

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • Per the state of operation requirements, Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse Delegation
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • High school or Equivalent (GED)
  • One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferred
  • Proficient computer skills preferred
  • Strong self-management and organization skills
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (Open to change).
  • Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.
  • May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.
  • Possible exposure to household chemicals.
  • Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.
  • May be subject to frequent interruptions.
  • Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
