This job provides compensation consulting to HR Business Partners and Leaders. Provides guidance in resolving complex compensation inquiries and helps to administer compensation programs and activities.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education
Required - Bachelor's degree
Work Experience
Required - 5 years’ experience in Compensation including job evaluation and classification, market pay analysis, compensation administration and compensation data analysis.
Preferred - Experience leading work with job design and job architecture at the organization level.
Preferred - Experience with MarketPay and JDXpert systems.
Certifications
Required – None
Preferred – CCP or PHR
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of
information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
Knowledge of compensation administration principles and procedures.
Knowledge of federal and state wage and salary laws and regulations.
Ability to develop reports from HRIS system, analyze data and present findings.
Advanced knowledge of Excel including experience with formulas, VLookup and Pivot Tables.
Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and work independently.
Job Duties
Provides compensation consultation and support to assigned business groups by partnering with HRBPs and Leaders
Advises and provides consultative support to Leaders, Talent Acquisition and HRBPs on complex compensation related inquiries
Participates and provides consultation on system wide projects including job design and job architecture.
Provides guidance on building out standard operation procedures and best practices across the compensation function.
Provides support and guidance to HRBPs and Leaders on compensation programs and processes.
Supports compensation projects by gathering, organizing and analyzing data and presents findings and recommendations.
