The People Relations (PR) Partner quickly adapts and deals with emergent issues where needed as well as identifies long-term opportunities to enhance the employee experience and positively impact moments that matter.
This role is based in Budapest. This role will cover and support multiple countries from the North and Eastern Europe Network, as well as the Middle East and Africa.
The Opportunity:
Consulting and providing advice, counsel and resolution to employees and managers on a broad range of people relations matters, including policy interpretation and application, conflict resolution, complex performance management and termination processes and practices
Working in partnership with Compliance to determine if any support is required for Business Ethics Incident Reporting complaint resolution, and acting as a point of escalation for any other complex complaints
Surfacing root causes and broader trends through the use of data in order to ensure business leaders are best positioned to address any pervasive concerns, and advise on how to prevent complaints through fair and consistent performance management
Advising on performance management issues that are complex, contentious and are determined to carry potential levels of legal risk
Consulting and supporting reorganization/transformations and strategic workforce planning exercises; providing thought leadership to business leaders on restructures and reorganization and engaging internal and external partners and stakeholders to drive initiatives to conclusion
Managing projects related to the PR key areas of responsibilities (e.g. restructurings, negotiations with employee representations, conflict prevention) resulting from global/regional/local business needs
Participating in cross-organizational reviews of broad-based P&C programs
Managing the relationship with the local Unions, proactively identifying issues requiring information, advice or consent.
Who you are:
You possess a strong track record of experience in the areas of employee relations and/or labor relations, with a solid understanding of performance management on a global scale
You have a solid knowledge and experience in Employment and labor Law, ideally across multiple EMEA counties
You have demonstrated consultation and influencing skills with a diverse group of stakeholders, you excel in negotiation, diffusing volatile situations, and steering people relationships towards positive outcomes. You have an enterprise mindset and system thinking, and are proven to work effectively across multiple business areas, global teams, and leadership levels.
You demonstrate ability to leverage technology and data to generate insights as foundation for diagnosis, recommendations and decisions
You are passionate about building an inclusive work culture, fostering psychological safety and a strong sense of belonging
You are proficient in English. French language can be a plus but not a strong requirement
