Product Manager

Help us build a luxury-focused FinTech in Travel Rewards space! Taekus is looking for a PM to manage our product development and help us coordinate between design, engineering, and leadership. As a fast-growing FinTech with $60m revenue-run-rate, we have increasing complexities in our product development that need an expert at shaping processes for scale.

Note: You will be our first PM hire reporting to CEO and COO so there will be a combination of leadership and IC work with a lot of potential for upward mobility as we are expanding rapidly.

Your Responsibilities

  • Working with the design team, engineering team, and leadership to streamline product building.

  • Drive roadmap initiatives across our product lines by collaborating with design, engineering, and leadership.

  • Streamline product building processes to create cohesive iteration cycles.

  • Drive user adoption through optimized trials, onboarding flows, engagement tactics, and conversion funnels in partnership with Customer Success and Data teams.

What you bring to the table

  • 7+ years of product management experience.

  • Experience working at startups but an understanding of industry best-practices from larger companies.

  • Can blend the move-fast-and-break-things approach with the rigors of banking compliance.

  • You are adept with Figma and prototyping

  • Possesses experience with product-led growth and vertical-focused go-to-market strategies, with demonstrated success in scaling revenue and user growth

  • You came from a technical engineering or product designer background.

Taekus is a 5-year-old luxury financial services company that offers travel rewards credit cards, debit cards, and other banking services for affluent travelers. We provide core banking services with next-gen technologies and have unprecedented access to award ticket inventory through our airline partners. Our brand is luxury while our ethos is tech. We have a lean team under 20 employees and are undergoing 300%+ year/year growth. We have processed over $2.5 billion dollars and operate as a highly profitable company.

We have processed 2.5b+ in transactions, $60mm/yr revenue, undergoing 300% YoY growth, and operating profitably. We’ve launched our core products for banking services and flights bookings but now we need to expand the product features.

To get here, we’ve wrangled partnerships with Visa, multiple banks, and airlines. We’ve raised from CRV, some other funds, and various angels, including The Points Guy himself.

Until recently, we’ve been building with an ultra-lean team — but we are ready to grow and need more team members to help us in this next phase of growth.
