Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Benefits Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers hands-on experience in employee benefits administration and exposure to various HR functions. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and interested in pursuing a career in HR or benefits management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans
  • Support open enrollment processes, employee communications, and data entry
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation in HRIS and benefits platforms
  • Assist in auditing benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Participate in researching and comparing benefits offerings and best practices
  • Provide support with wellness initiatives, internal communications, and benefits education efforts
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries and direct more complex questions to the appropriate team members
  • Support ongoing and ad hoc HR projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
