City Year is seeking a Campus Recruiter to engage and cultivate prospective AmeriCorps members from 10+ college campuses in Columbus, OH. This hybrid role involves developing recruitment strategies, building relationships, and supporting candidates through the application process.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include engaging with students and alumni, conducting presentations and recruitment events, managing candidate pipelines, supporting applicants through the application and interview process, and collaborating with team members for successful candidate transitions.
Skills: Candidates should possess strong relationship-building and communication skills, experience in recruitment or program coordination, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include experience in education or nonprofit sectors, the ability to engage diverse groups, and a passion for national service. Flexibility to travel within the designated portfolio is required.
Location: This position is primarily based in Columbus, OH, with a hybrid work model allowing remote work on non-campus days.
Compensation: $55000 - $55000 / Annually

Position Overview
Campus Recruiters are responsible for generating interest and cultivating a pool of candidates within their designated portfolios to apply to serve as AmeriCorps members. As Campus Recruiters, you will represent City Year’s mission to prospective candidates, building strong relationships with all students, campus leaders, and other stakeholders. You will play a critical role in creating pipelines of talent by developing and executing recruitment strategies, supporting candidates through the application process, and fostering a commitment to national service.
Campus Recruiters are location based and work within the Corps Talent Acquisition Campus Recruitment Channel, reporting to a Campus Recruitment Director. Each recruiter’s portfolio contains 10+ college campuses that focus on the highest producing historical schools and are proximate to the local City Year site.
This position is located in Columbus, OH. Recruiters prioritize being on campus 2-3 days per week to develop a deep network of on campus relationships as well as to generate leads and applicants through direct outreach. Recruiters will be able to work from home and the City Year Columbus office on non-campus days. Due to the travel requirements, a valid Driver's License is required. The salary for this role is $55,000.
