This role provides flexibility to work 4 days on site weekly and Friday remote weekly at our Franklin Lakes, NJ site.
Job Overview
In this Human Resources Manager pivotal role, you will provide strategic guidance and support to our business leaders on a wide range of HR initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping our organizational culture and driving continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide coaching and expertise in areas such as Business Planning, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Organizational Design and Development, Learning and Development, Recruitment and Onboarding, Training and Development, Leadership Development and Coaching, Team Development, Compensation and Benefits planning and administration, and Associate/Employee Engagement.
• Identify and implement appropriate organizational structures and key capabilities required to achieve business objectives, acting as a change agent based on business strategy.
• Assess the competencies required to meet strategic objectives and the organization's capability to maximize opportunities. Identify opportunities to fill competency gaps through talent acquisition and development.
• Lead discussions with the leadership team on HR topics, influencing the introduction of programs and initiatives. Identify opportunities and problems requiring decisions and approvals, gathering and presenting relevant information to enable informed decision-making.
• Analyze metrics, reports, and data, sharing relevant insights with leaders to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist leadership in creating work environments and reward systems that foster employee engagement and productivity.
• Support managers during the annual Performance Management and Compensation Reward Cycle.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree required, with a focus in Human Resources, Management, Economics, Psychology, or Law preferred. Advanced degree in a related field or business preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience is required, with at least 2 years of HR experience supporting a client group or business.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Experience supporting diverse client groups, including clients from different functions or roles within a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple levels, functions, and cultures, with a sense of urgency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems.
• Experience working in large, complex environments, matrixed organizations with a centralized service center and centers of excellence is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in translating ambiguous business needs into strategies.
