Job Title: Benefits Administrator

Location: Monsey, NY

Compensation: $35/hour

Schedule: Full-time (On-site)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Administrator to manage and support employee benefits programs for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance and a solid understanding of health, dental, vision, and ancillary benefit plans. This is an on-site position based in Monsey.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, eligibility, and claims.

Manage enrollment, changes, and terminations in benefits systems.

Coordinate open enrollment processes and conduct benefits orientations for new hires.

Liaise with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues and ensure timely service delivery.

Review and reconcile invoices and ensure timely premium payments.

Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA.

Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting as needed for audits or internal reviews.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in benefits administration or insurance-related roles.

Strong knowledge of employee benefits and insurance regulations.

High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/benefits platforms.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred:

Experience working in a healthcare, nonprofit, or social services setting is a plus.

Familiarity with New York State-specific benefits regulations.
