Job Description

Are you passionate about connecting exceptional talent with a meaningful mission? The Indiana University Foundation is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to play a pivotal role in recruiting top-tier professionals who will drive IU’s philanthropic efforts forward. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring that IUF and the IU advancement community attract and retain mission-driven individuals.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will own the full-cycle recruitment process, collaborating closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders to develop strategic hiring plans, craft compelling job advertisements, and implement innovative sourcing strategies. Leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter, you will cultivate strong talent pipelines, provide an exceptional candidate experience, and ensure hiring practices reflect best-in-class recruitment standards. Additionally, you will lead key talent-related projects and manage a Talent Acquisition Coordinator.

Beyond recruitment, this role partners with the Human Resources & Culture team to enhance hiring manager education, develop talent related trainings, and track key recruitment metrics. Your expertise will shape the candidate experience and contribute to IU Foundation’s reputation as an employer of choice in higher education advancement.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and sound hiring practices
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating, developing and enhancing professional relationships and candidate relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative working style and ability to work with many stakeholders at varying levels
  • Ability to appropriately articulate the mission and vision of Indiana University and the IU Foundation to attract potential candidates
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work on a variety of projects and searches simultaneously

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field is required
  • Three years of recruitment experience, including at least two years of full-cycle recruitment, is required
  • Experience executing on a variety of sourcing techniques, with strong relationship building abilities is required
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM- CP, SHRM- SCP, or PHR preferred
  • People leadership experience is preferred
  • Combinations of related education and experience will be considered

Additional Information

A cover letter expressing your interest in the role is recommended as part of your application. This position is based out of our Bloomington, Indiana office and offers a hybrid schedule. The compensation range for this position is $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually.
