  • Hold a High School Diploma or its equivalent and have the ability to pass a background check. Experience in food preparation within a licensed childcare setting is a bonus!
  • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.  
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances. 
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.

Responsibilities

Your Role as Childcare Cook:  As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children in our care. In addition to your culinary duties, you may also serve as an assistant teacher, actively participating in classroom activities and fostering a supportive learning environment. Your responsibilities include assisting in guiding young learners, planning engaging activities, and cultivating strong partnerships with parents through open communication.
