Job Description

The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) LAC team has overall responsibility for all aspects of business strategy, development, and management of B2B solutions, as well as platform development and commercial information management. VCS serves clients engaged in providing payment products to small business, middle market, large corporate and multinational companies, governments and commercial supply chain and B2B segments.

 

Job Scope:

As a member of the Operations team within VCS LAC, this individual will be focused on supporting the structure for VCS to operate effectively and helping maintain a high-performance culture that inspires and engages every VCS employee.

The Manager of Business Analytics and Operations will have the ability to write effectively, think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. The candidate must also be able to build strong working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. This role involves stakeholder management, cross team collaboration, content curation, and material creation.

The new hire will report to and partner closely with the Director of VCS Strategy and Operations in LAC. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the growing B2B payments space and help drive the business forward.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Advise the Visa Commercial Solutions team by organizing and prioritizing critical information and data available from different sources inside Visa to facilitate efficient decision-making.
  • Conduct holistic and deep dive analyses across a range of business growth and operational areas as needed to identify key trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • In partnership with your manager and VCS Sales Specialists, develop frameworks, storylines, approaches, solutions and recommendations to drive the Go-To Market Strategy across different markets and target clients with material revenue impact.
  • Manage the business intelligence strategy and operating model, partnering with various teams to ensure meaningful insights are readily available.
  • Generate actionable insights through close partnership with global and regional teams.
  • Support the identification and quantification of potential revenue and business opportunities that can accelerate the time-to-market and can address specific market needs.
  • Support teams in developing and articulating strategic plans including metrics and data to track progress towards major deals closed with impactful AANR results.
  • Develop strong relationships and act as a strategic point of contact across stakeholders (e.g., Global VCS and CMS Operations, Sales Specialists, Finance, Marketing, Client Services and other business partners).
  • Build and maintain a repository of Business Data to support LAC VCS Head and other VCS LAC members on ad-hoc requests and portfolio trends.
  • Own the internal reporting infrastructure for Regional and Global VCS including weekly updates, MBRs, QBRs, Town Halls, and earnings calls. Ensure the most relevant information is surfaced while improving processes to increase team’s productivity.
  • Manage thought leadership initiatives to help VCS LAC team stay up to speed with the latest news and industry trends related to real time payments.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

-6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
-Ability to analyze large data sets and formulate insights and strategies.
-Data driven and analytical capability to yield insights to drive decision making.
-Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details and eye for quality.
-Experience in payments and financial services preferred.
-Strong strategic thinker with a results orientation who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive, and appropriate urgency.
-Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment and handle multiple workstreams.
-Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, with experience with Tableau and Power BI.
-Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages in written and verbal communications.
-Regional sensibilities and an empathetic outlook to work well with other markets and cultures around the world.
