Description

Job Summary: The HR Generalist will play a critical role in developing and enhancing HR processes to support a fast-paced, high-growth organization. This position will assist in building a strong HR foundation by focusing on the development of HR workflows, executing HR initiatives, improving policies, and providing comprehensive HR support across the organization. 


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations & Compliance:
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and refining HR policies, processes, and procedures to support company growth.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain proper documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR systems, and related databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with leadership to support HR-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Act as a trusted HR resource, addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including culture-building programs and retention strategies.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and guide new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand company policies and procedures.
  • Administer new hire 90-day surveys, stay interviews, exit interviews, and employee surveys to gather insights and drive improvements.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration:
  • Assist in managing payroll, benefits enrollment, and leave administration.
  • Provide support on compensation benchmarking, salary structure analysis, and benefits enhancements.
  • Ensure employees are well-informed about benefits, wellness programs, and HR offerings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience - required 
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced growing company - preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field - preferred 
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Proficient experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics (experience with Paycom is a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
