Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions (VWTS) is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager- Employee Relations based in Minnetonka, Minnesota in a hybrid capacity (1-2 days per week remote). This high-impact HR professional will partner with our supply chain to support the success of our people.
This HR Manager position is a heavy-employee relations position, if you have a passion for ER, we want to hear from you! This position will drive engagement within a non-union 400-employee manufacturing site. They influence leaders and understand both broad business, manufacturing and service-specific challenges to enable a salary and an hourly workforce to meet business objectives. They act as a subject matter expert providing guidance and direct support for functional areas such as employee relations, consultation/conflict resolution, policy interpretation and application, management consultation, talent acquisition, succession planning, workforce data analysis, and performance appraisal training.
This dynamic role requires a high degree of emotional intelligence, critical thinking and decision-making skills to work with all levels of management and hourly staff to help create a safe, healthy, vibrant work environment. Key Responsibilities:
● Guide the development and execution of workforce strategies in collaboration with the human resources team and operations’ leadership.
● Will develop a deep understanding of the business by participating in client activities to build knowledge of the operational objectives as well as our culture. This includes attending client meetings to give HR updates while assessing operational needs.
● Look for new opportunities and solutions to deliver HR support in line with business goals.
● Support workforce planning while monitoring trends such as turnover and time to fill to support clients with staffing challenges. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition shared service center and management to identify and remove barriers to filling positions.
● Leverage data to identify opportunities for improvement in a number of key workforce areas.
● Manage local employee relations including conflict resolution, providing counselling to managers and employees and conducting interviews. You will work with managers to coach, train and guide them in regards to employee relations, policy and procedure interpretation, turnover, employee satisfaction, performance management, conflict resolution, and legal issues.
● Work in a shared service environment
Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $110,000 - $120,000 annually. (For bonus eligible positions) This role also includes a (AIP) ensure that HR workflows support this model while leveraging the expertise of HR COEs (Compensation, Payroll & benefits, Talent Acquisition, HRIS and Mobility).

Core Requirements:
● A bachelor’s degree is required, as well as, 5+ years of HR experience.
● Strong employee relations experience
● Experience working in a fast-paced high-growth working environment.
● Solid working knowledge of Federal and local laws for the US as they pertain to human resources administration, employee relations and investigation compliance.
● Demonstrated ability to work with and influence an hourly manufacturing population while providing strong partnerships with management.
Preferred:
● Previous experience in water, manufacturing, oil and gas, energy or chemicals industries is preferable.
