Localization Manager

ABOUT BURGA

From a 7m² flat with just one printer in 2015 to a global powerhouse with 2+ million customers, 6+ million products sold, and revenue of over 50 million in 2024 - BURGA is not your average brand. Our products have been spotted with some of the world’s biggest celebrities, like Taylor Swift, Cara Delevingne, Lucy Hale, Alexis Ren and many more.

We're on a mission to turn ordinary into extraordinary by transforming everyday items into style statement accessories. To keep up with our growth, we’re building a 10-million-euro manufacturing facility in Kaunas, set to produce 40,000 items daily.

With unicorn ambitions, 70+ passionate marketing specialists, an 8-figure marketing budget, and perks like our 600m² creative hub designed to produce Cannes Lions award-worthy content, you’re joining a marketing team that’s rewriting the rules.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Localization Manager at BURGA is more than just a title - it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.

Your Role: lead a team of freelance translators, writers, and editors, ensuring content isn’t just translated but truly resonates across languages. By blending AI-powered tools with human expertise, you’ll craft workflows that maximize efficiency and maintain brand voice consistency. From marketing campaigns to product descriptions, your work will make every word feel local, engaging, and culturally relevant.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Manage a team of freelance translators, local copywriters, and editors, keeping everyone aligned, efficient, and delivering high-quality work.

- Use AI-powered tools to speed up translation, validate content, fact-check, and fine-tune language consistency.

- Ensure our tone of voice is just right in every language by adapting campaigns, emails, product descriptions, ads, and more so they feel local, not just translated.

- Build smooth, efficient workflows that blend human expertise with AI magic to get the best of both worlds.

- Stay on top of cultural and language trends to ensure our messaging stays fresh, relevant, and relatable.

- Check and double-check everything - accuracy, style, grammar, tone, length… you name it.

- Work closely with our creative team to ensure everything sounds like us in different languages.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- A minimum of 2-3  years of experience in localization, translation management, or something similar.

- Experience managing freelance translators, writers, and editors (you plan well and know how to keep things running smoothly).

- Fluent in English (bonus points if you know another language, but it’s not a dealbreaker).

- Hands-on experience with AI tools for translation and content validation.

- A knack for brand voice and transcreation (you don’t just translate words, you translate vibes).

- Strong project management skills (you keep deadlines, workflows, and budgets in check).

- A detail-obsessed brain that catches every little mistake before it goes live.

- Someone who gets that language is more than words - culture, emotion, and connection.

SALARY: 2150 - 3310 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
