The Role
As People and Talent Lead at Cambio, you will be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive talent strategy that attracts, engages, and retains top-tier talent to our team. You will manage recruitment processes, work closely with external agencies when necessary, and drive initiatives that foster a positive company culture and employee development. This is a strategic role that requires a blend of recruiting and people ops leadership and expertise.
What You Will Be Doing:
Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and lead recruitment strategies to attract exceptional talent and enable Cambio to scale.
Recruitment Execution: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing, across our teams.
External Agency Coordination: Coordinate with external recruitment agencies to find candidates for our team when necessary for specific searches.
People Operations: Collaborate with leadership to implement policies and practices that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention.
Talent Development: Design and implement programs that foster career development, leadership growth, and continuous learning across the organization.
Team Operations Insights: Use recruitment and HR metrics to optimize team operations.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in recruitment and/or people operations. Experience working in and scaling high-growth startup organizations is highly preferred.
Track Record of Talent Acquisition: Proven ability to develop and implement effective talent acquisition and people strategies.
People Ops Background: Experience driving and scaling People Ops across organizations, e.g. talent development, employee engagement, performance, and HR processes.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
People-Centric: A genuine passion for fostering a positive work environment, in line with the core Cambio value of “A teammate never lets another teammate fail.”
Logistics
Work Authorization: Authorization to work in the United States or Canada is required.
Location: This is a hybrid role, and we primarily hire from our hubs in New York, Toronto, and San Francisco. Proximity to one of these cities is strongly preferred.
