Senior HR IT Specialist

Company Description

KOSTAL Group is a global, family-owned German company that develops market-leading solutions for the solar and automotive industries. The company was established in 1912 and employs about 20 000 people at 47 locations in 22 countries. In Hungary, KOSTAL is building its first business service centre to provide business support in IT, finance, procurement, master data, sales and HR fields. This is a global centre with high value-added and complex processes, which you can help to grow.

The work can be managed remotely – with time-to-time office presence depending on the team’s agreement and the demand of the respective professional area – from any location in Hungary. In case of some company events, office attendance is expected from the colleagues. Technical conditions for working from home are fully in place.

Job Description

KOSTAL is currently professionalizing its international HR function, especially by digitalizing processes and strategically implementing IT support tools.

Some parts of the HR systems are already fit for the future, other parts are currently under transformation and some parts still have to start this journey.
You are willing to actively contribute in this important program.

To get used to the basics of HR at KOSTAL and learn where to improve, you are not afraid of working on operational incidents and service requests.

Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:

  • Support the HR IT team by working on operational incident and service requests in relevant HR systems
  • Support the HR IT Team with global transformation projects such as H4/S4 migration and implementation of a HRIS suite
  • Ensure operational KPI’s are achieved in these fields
  • Documentation of HR business processes for frequently asked questions and KOSTAL’S technical knowledge database
  • Plan and Co-ordinate system maintenance and testing

Special Tasks/ Key challenges:

  • Work on HR project tasks as and when required
  • Support the digital improvement journey of KOSTAL’S international HR organization

Qualifications

Education:

  • University or college degree in IT or similar

Work experiences – time/seniority/ sector:

  • 4+ years work experience in a HR Application Management role within IT

Technical/ IT knowledge:

  • Experience in HRIS global transformation, including HRIS suite implementation, SAP H4/S4 migration, S4 Hana
  • Experience in SAP HCM Payroll, Time Management, Personnel Administration and Organisational Management, Fiori tiles for ESS.
  • Experience in IT processes (Ticketing, User support, Business KPI-s)
  • SSC Experience is an advantage
  • Confident user of standard office applications
  • Familiarity with ABAP / C++ / Python  is an advantage
  • HR related application knowledge (like: Cornerstone, Smartrecruiters) is an advantage

Language – with level

  • Fluent English
  • Hungarian is an advantage
