Job Description

HR Analyst

Hybrid, 2-3 days a week.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and report on metrics relating to employee engagement, retention, turnover and job satisfaction
    • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage employee surveys and feedback mechanisms. Analyze results to identify strengths and weaknesses in policies, programs and employee experience
  • Research and stay up to date on employment laws, regulations and best practices to assist the HR Operations Manager
  • Compile, analyze and report workforce demographic data to support diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
  • Provide ad hoc reports and analyses as needed to support strategic planning, budgeting and decision making
  • Respond to employee requests in a timely manner with regards to payroll, HR and HRIS concerns
  • Perform special projects and research as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and data analysis/reporting tools like Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate data into clear, audience-appropriate presentations
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to exceptional customer service

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in business or related field a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience in recruiting or human resources
  • Retail and/or food manufacturing experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
