Job Description

You'll be the lead HR Advisor for our 8 offices across EMEA and be part of a highly engaged and well connected global team, who provide a wide range of HR services and support to the Insights group. We promote and enable an engaging and inclusive culture, supporting our people to reach their full potential and you'll be an integral part of this. 

Day to day you'll

  • Collaborate with the Partnering team to ensure we promote and support the full suite of resourcing, performance management, employee relations, organisational change, and development..
  • Support business managers with all issues associated with absence and managing performance 
  • Work with Managers to navigate through people-related issues by applying appropriate policies.
  • Partner with the Talent Team on all pieces of European recruitment including candidate selection, interviews, offers and contracts. 
  • Understand the full employee life cycle, and work alongside or in parallel with People Business Partners to engage managers, and working closely with the wider People Function to enable People Operations to deliver key and cyclical people processes including payroll and people data management.
  • Actively support in onboarding, educating managers and supporting through the joiners, leavers and movers process
  • Contribute to the development of people processes within the People team especially within Partnering and People Operations
  • Support on business projects and initiatives when requested, representing the voice of our people in all aspects of behavioural and cultural change.
  • Actively contribute towards the People Strategy by understanding the goals and objectives of the Partnering team to delivering the full scope of HR activities such as resourcing, performance management, total rewards, people operations, employee relations, organisational development, coaching and team development and organisational change.
  • Understand the Insights governance and support the Partnering team to do so in a manner that drives business performance

Qualifications

  • Expertise in leading and sharing HR knowledge from the EMEA region and within a customer focused environment
  • An approachable and engaging people focused individual with a global approach and change mindset
  • Willingness to work collaboratively within a Partnering team, pick up work, learn and show a “can do” attitude
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Confident to suggest new ways of working, but willing to take instruction when required
  • A strong and confident individual with the ability to challenge constructively
  • A desire to stay informed on changing employment legislation and sharing this knowledge across the Partnering and Operations team
  • Demonstrates an interest in business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Working in a global organisation with knowledge of international HR and matrix working
  • Interpreting and advising on relevant employment law and on confidential and challenging issues

Additional Information

This role is for 12 months working directly with Insights on an annual salary. You'll be based out of our wonderful offices in Haarlem, which has an amazing team based there and is our biggest European office. You'll be on a hybrid contract that is flexible between office and home working, with a desire for you to be present in the office at least 1 day a week.
