As Propio expands, we are looking for a motivated HR Specialist to help support our people and business operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has a passion for employee experience, and can effectively navigate HR functions to support our workforce. This position requires a general background in HR functions and the ability to assist complex projects with precision and efficiency.


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted associate to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support the People Team in driving employee experience and retention.
  • Manage a shared HR inbox for employee inquiries and requests.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, providing guidance and resolution strategies.
  • Support talent management efforts, including but not limited to onboarding.
  • Verify compliance with employment laws and company policies, ensuring HR best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR projects and initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity within HR systems and perform regular system audits.
  • Stay current with HR trends, laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation in HR processes.


Requirements


Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year HR experience
  • Baseline knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.

  • Ability to work onsite in our Overland Park office. 
  • Easily adjusts to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to support multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
